Arbitrum

Overview

Arbitrum is one of the biggest chains in crypto, and developers love it. It wanted to win institutions too, and needed to look the part. We rebranded it, built the new website, and have made a steady run of creative for X, its main channel — including a video that became its second-best performer ever, behind only a free-money giveaway — plus an interview series with some of the top people in the industry and campaigns built to bring in leads. For its parent company we took Offchain Labs to Offchain.

Brand

A brand that looks the part for institutions

Developers already loved Arbitrum; institutions needed to see a brand that looked the part. We rebuilt the identity system, color, type, illustration and motion from the ground up — as confident as the product, and flexible enough for every surface the team would grow into.

Website

A site for every audience Arbitrum wants to win

We designed and built the new arbitrum.io in the rebrand’s system. It speaks to each audience on its own page, from finance teams and consumer apps to game studios, builders and teams launching their own chain, with an Arbitrum 101 for anyone new to it. The product is shown as working interface, not stock imagery, and every page ends on the same next step. For the business, one site now does the work of several pitches, telling institutions and developers alike why to build on Arbitrum.

Campaigns

Campaigns made for X, and the people on it

Our most successful work for Arbitrum is The Marketing Department, a mockumentary series about a team taking the Kaito Leaderboard far too seriously. Made for X, it turned a complex rewards programme into a running story and helped drive one of the protocol’s top-performing campaigns. Alongside it, also for X, an interview series with some of the top people in the industry, part of a steady run of creative for the channel Arbitrum’s community actually watches; and a run of lead-generation campaigns aimed at the institutions Arbitrum wanted to reach, built to turn attention into conversations.
